We gave towers the ability to interrupt their idle with a pose when the player hits an attack input Sort of like Beat from UNBEATABLE, the lockstep guys, or (Strike a Taunt,) Peppino! #gamedev

Sometimes you're not the game's main programmer but you lock in and spend a week completely overhauling the game's rhythm & input systems just because you want to make the towers fire in fun-to-hit patterns QUAVERS ARE NOW REAL (and other notes too...)

I did some more art for TEMP-OS this week! It was a lot of fun trying to emulate the look of an arcade stage 😄 The radial menu was inspired by DDR. For the tiles I took inspiration from StepManiaX because the LED display and solid black panels better fit UX needs for cognitive load & feedback.
