I haven't finished one of my 3 audiobooks in rotation, but the kiddo and I listened to these in August and September! I cried at the end of Frindle. Big fat tears. Rereading it as an adult really got me! (I read it for the 1st time in 3rd grade too 🥹) A Royal Conundrum was REALLY good!

😬 rice, cabbage, and jerk may be the safer options. (I figured I was safe with curries, but not necessarily. My mom uses a curry booster that contains wheat flour.) These have helped me so much with the painful side effects.

Whoever recommended this book was absolutely right! Only for the Week by Natasha Bishop is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and fun and pulls you right into the friend group. I'll probably finish this book this weekend and want to read more by the author!

From the Desk of Zoe Washington was an excellent audiobook to listen to with my almost 8yo. Zoe's dad was wrongfully convicted, and the story talks about the issues Black people face within the US legal system. Zoe is also a baker and my kiddo was inspired to make her own cereal milk cupcake!
