Finished the new Blokees StarForce MegaMan kit! Super happy to have a figure of the character, the StarForce sub-series is so underserved in the merch department.

With the curtain closing for now on Marvel Snap's Draft Mode I figured I'd give some written feedback in no particular order to go along with the data Second Dinner already collects. (Assuming they have any interns or whatever looking for such things here.)

In an amusing twist, someone is donating a sketch to raffle off to my following. So hey, repost, like and follow this message for a sketch that helped feed my eccentric and expensive ice cream habit today XD.

It's moments like these where I'm kinda thankful 99% of my followers are bots. Too many notifications. This is what I get for saying something popular in response to a more major account's post.

I take it back, there is one more thing I want to say, but it's more of a request for @glitchprod.com than a reaction to the last act: Please make a DVD and/or Blu-ray release of the complete TADC series!

Teko Mythmaster @teko-mythmaster.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Saw TADC the final act yesterday and boy do I have thoughts, but I promised a fish I wouldn't post any spoilers, so all I'll say is that I enjoyed it and am looking forward to Glitch being able to dedicate the time and resources TADC has been using/generating for it's other projects now.

Finished building the Roll.exe kit I found for a good price yesterday and decided to take the opportunity to get pictures of her and the MegaMan.exe kit I got a little while back!

The megaman.exe Kotobukiya model kit. Equipped with the masked faceplate and buster arm raised to the upper left of the frame.

The roll.exe Kotobukiya model kit. Attached to her stand in a floating pose with her buster/bow arm pointed to the left.

Aaaaand the pilot immediately found an excuse to have Kit in a bikini for almost the entire episode. Yeah, they knew exactly what they were doing. Not complaining though, more power too them for embracing it, pilot was great and I'm probably going to rewatch it like 5 times over the next week.

Teko Mythmaster @teko-mythmaster.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

There's something very funny to me about the fact that Gameoverse is already experiencing "the consequences of our actions" and the pilot hasn't even come out yet. Looking forward to the pilot!

A comment I've seen a few times re:StarFox Direct is "why can't people dislike things a 'normal' amount". They do, I'd argue most people do, but those people aren't posting about it, and if they are those posts aren't picking up views.

Almost forgot to be annoying about this: I believe this is officially the first first-party true physical to be sub-$70! I think at this point it's safe to say that there is officially no excuse for using game key carts. *Looks at Sega, Squenix, Pokopia, etc. with malice*

Like even if i give all these companies the benefit of the doubt and accept it was there as a placeholder... THEN IT'S A FUCKING HORRIBLE PLACEHOLDER BECAUSE IT KEEPS BEING LEFT IN THE GAMES! At best you are ignorant/lazy, at worst you are being malicious against your players!

I’m so tired of ‘we used it as a placeholder’ No you didn’t, placeholders are normally just blank/minimal images so they are easy to spot and replace later. You used it because you thought you’d get away with it. FUCK. OFF!

The new "in app" translations on BlueSky are terrible. Not sure why since I was under the impression it was just using Google translate anyways, but it seems to be giving an aggressively literal (and frequently incorrect) translation, while Google is doing something to smooth over the transition.

Re: no one under ~30 remembers 9/11 Something like 60% of people living in NYC are not old enough to remember 9/11. "Less than 25 years apart" is a lot dumber of a statement when you actually think about how long 25 years is.

020

Teko Mythmaster @teko-mythmaster.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

Random thought of the day: This year marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11. This effectively means that as of this year no-one under the age of ~35 actually remembers 9/11.

Bought the Blokees Miku "model kit" on a whim from my local comic shop today. It's a really nice figure. It also isn't a model kit no matter what the box says, it's a Figma-style figure that skipped the last 2 steps of assembly at the factory.

Most Mario games. I don't hate them. I've played a few and enjoyed my time well enough, but I walk away from every one of them with a profound feeling of "well that certainly was a game", and have no desire to play anymore for years at a time.

Nintendo: Ok, fine. We'll give you a better way to sell digital only games at retail. Have Key Carts. Customers: We hate this. EA, Activision, and 2k: Think we'll just keep putting paper in empty boxes. Customers: Somehow we hate this more.

010

Teko Mythmaster @teko-mythmaster.bsky.social · 23/12/2025

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I have almost literally 1000 "old" games on my shelf, most of them unplayed or unfinished, and a wishlist of nearly 2000 more to buy. If video games stopped being made at all tomorrow I'd still have enough for 3 lifetimes. Boycotting AI is not a problem.

Apparently this is the month where all the really old/obscure 90s PC games I played when I was like 8 go on sale on Steam for less than a dollar. I've picked up Sheep and Starship Titanic for 89¢ each. Now I'm just trying to think of what other stuff buried in my memory I could find.
