Meh, I've started and stopped playing at least 3 times, each with near decade long gaps in between, so long as you remember the basics it's still easy enough to jump back in. Pendulums have kinda been nerfed into the ground though, so you'll definitely want to start with Relinquished.

The Prime 1 Remaster spoiled me, so (even though I own physical copies of every game) loading up PrimeHack on my Steam Deck ended up being the only way I could get myself playing 2/3.

It's no Prime 2/3 remaster in terms of visuals (aside from literally just being rendered at HD resolutions), but the PrimeHack Dolphin mod does let you play all three games (Wii or GCN) with Remaster style controls or full keyboard and mouse if that's your thing.

They also hybridized the SF1 cuffed boots with the SF3 unibody boots to accommodate the ankle joints and added a bunch of extra detail to them for no apparent reason. I still enjoy the figure overall, but there's definitely a lot of weird decisions that leave me wanting for a more accurate version.

I say "mostly" because he still comes with a Omega-Xis head shaped buster, which the SF3 design notably didn't feature. Resultantly it's also the wrong color? They put all the energy effects on one runner, so they're all blue to match the SF3 buster arm, but the Xis head energy should be neon green.

That said they did botch the design pretty hard. Every action figure collector's pet peeve, gorilla arms. I blame the choice to (mostly?) go with the StarForce 3 design. It just naturally adds so many problems.

Worth pointing out that scalpers =\= fans. In most cases from what I've seen those terms are mutually exclusive and scalpers will just call themselves "fans" or "loyal customers" to make themselves sound "less" morally bankrupt while saying something completely morally bankrupt.

Inversely, trying to throw Thanos into my deck as the second to last card 15 times doesn't work at all. He needs to be a starter not draft because he can't just be thrown into something that wasn't made for him.

Mr Negative, Sauron, Thor, Invisible Woman, Silver Surfer, Kang, High Evolutionary, Cerebro, Patriot, etc just never showed up at all. Which is disappointing in a format where these kinds of 1 card defined decks can flourish if that 1 can has superstar.

Greater variety in the cards offered. The rarity system is nice for balance, but also means that most decks consist mostly of the same cards. Some archetypes also seemed to be entirely missing, I don't think I saw a single discard deck, and decks more centric around 1 card were very rare or missing.

For example: If you pull tons of cards that destroy, and nothing that benefits from being destroyed or having other cards get destroyed you're not going to win at all. Some cards are both (Venom/Carnage), but the cards you're offered need to be biased towards keeping you semi-balanced.

Biasing the cards you can draft towards the archetype already in your deck is a good move, but needs another layer. Most of the labeled archetypes can be split further into "enablers" and "benefiters". The least fun runs result from the draft picks giving you too many of one category.

Make setting sleeve, profile pic, and tag easier/more obvious. I started to think I was only playing the same dude over and over because everyone was just using the defaults. The slapdash nature of how it worked this time makes it seem like it was kinda last minute, so I understand, but still.

Have cards in draft decks auto apply favorite variants. Obviously every player won't have one for every card, but given how much money y'all want us spending on card cosmetics it'd be nice to be able to use what we do have.

The purchase that took me down my collectors path was Metroid Prime and Pokemon XD for $2 total at a yard sale. Didn't even own a GameCube, but I knew that even then (both were under $50 at the time) I couldn't pass that up. Bought the matching XD GameCube for $42 a few weeks later.

You know what, fair. Same problem applies regardless, only people who are super passionate about something are going to go to the effort of filling out a form, maybe even more so given the extra required effort needed to find the form. But you are right, it's not just social media.

I've made a similar post to this before, so I'll keep it short: People who "just 'dislike'" something aren't going to post about it, and if they do it won't gain any traction to be seen. The way social media works means only people with more extreme opinions get heard. Not that that's a good thing.

Not just the US, forecasting is one of the few things almost every nation does collaboratively because we all need each other's data to improve accuracy. The US's data and forecasts being worse has knock on effects that make the rest of the world's forecasts worse to.

Have a friend who used to intern at NOAA, quite simply they got gutted. A lot of the people responsible for parsing all the international weather data to make the national forecasts other groups use to make their local forecasts are just gone, so all the forecasts are just worse now.

I know it's tempting to think there's not a market since it's "free" on YouTube, but there is, and I'm very much part of it. I own at least 6 Blu-ray/DVDs of stuff that was released on YouTube first. Not just because it's nice to have, but because it means YouTube can't make them disappear.
