Finally saw Backrooms (the movie). LOVE. Style and atmosphere hit me somewhere between Cube and Requiem for a Dream. I could nitpick things, but overall it was A+ for a first film from a young director. Very much looking forward to the inevitable sequel(s).

Had a little hermit thrush hit the wall at Doomkeep so it’s time to be a helper. It had a lot of purple poop which tells me it’s been eating fermented blackberries, so we had a BUI (bird under the influence) It’s out in the drunk tank to sober up (cardboard box under the eaves).

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.

Definitely a west coast dog! Though apparently my dialect is a bit more Cali than my native Seattle. Also wtf lol. I've never knew there were expressions for "raining while sunny" but I'm definitely using these now. The wolf is giving birth? Fox's wedding? Pineapple rain? These are all amazing 🤣

Wheee. Felt a super painful pop in one of my molars while eating a slice of pizza last night. Tooth cracked down the side. Getting at least a crown, possibly a root canal or extraction tomorrow morning. Headaches and painkillers til then 😩
