Definitely a west coast dog! Though apparently my dialect is a bit more Cali than my native Seattle. Also wtf lol. I've never knew there were expressions for "raining while sunny" but I'm definitely using these now. The wolf is giving birth? Fox's wedding? Pineapple rain? These are all amazing 🤣

Now that Callie is home and recovered, I can share this photo from visiting her in the ICU last week. I have never received stronger “I wanna go home” sad puppy eyes. Broke my heart. * Label added for dog in hospital with feeding tube in her nose.

Please send some good vibes for Callie. She’s not feeling well and hasn’t eaten for 3 days. Ultrasound, bloodwork, and other testing have all been clear. Monitoring, medicating, giving lots of pets, hoping she gets her appetite back soon :(

I just met an older Ukrainian lady at the park who asked to pet Callie. In heavy accent she says.. “I had Matiff. He protect me from bear. Save my life. She will protect you from bear.” I’m like “haha no she won’t protect me from anything” She gets very serious “No no! She protect you from bear!”
