This has been a tiresome week.

Drinking an energy drink and feeling the will to live returning to my body. Didn't have coffee this morning and it's was a struggle to survive through basic life tasks 😅

I had a orange strand in my brown hair back in 2019-2020. It was great and any comments I got on it were positive :)

Yeah! It's like, earnest in having fun. I miss movies like that.

A singer I like left a band I like, and now they have a new singer and she started a new band. Here's me rn:

Here's an ersatz alt text: Ghost in the Shell (1995), the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Wind Rises, Gladiator, Blade Runner, Naked Gun, Hercules (Disney), The Vast of Night.

The 9 Movies That Shaped Who I am #my9movies What a fun way this was to look back at movies throughout my life. Much like Ivy I had to restrict Disney movies to just one. On a similar note Gladiator, besides being there on its own right, also represents 00s historical epic movies www.my9movies.com

What a fantastic set of movies! I remember being a kid and watching Mummy all the way through was too scary, so I just kept re-watching the earlier parts 😅 Also, they just don't make movies like the Pirates of the Caribbean anymore. An action movie that's epic and just plain old _fun_!

Happy birthday! Hope it's a lovely one 🫶🎉🍰

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I'm now hesitant to play Trails because if I start, it'll just be "one more thing" until hours have passed hehe 😅

The sadness you feel when you finish an energy drink 😢

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Finally playing Trails in the Sky remake 🤩 Got it as a treat to myself. I'm loving how faithful it is to the original, and how different yet same it is. Writing, graphic design, music and gameplay are all just delightful.

Taking a little of a head start (almost said jump scare) to spooky season; watching Widow's Bay. The mixture of horror and comedy works so well. I'm a scaredy cat and I'm feeling so much trepidation already watching episode 2 😅 Mixing comedy and horror makes me miss Call of Cthulhu ttrpg, hehe .

Shana Tova! Wishing a happy new year to anyone celebrating Rosh Hashana 🥰

Hayley is such an icon! I'm so glad for you!! :)

Oh no, Ivy 🫂🫂🫂 Honestly, I get that. Been there. Internet has gotten so crucial for a lot of modern life that being without is awful. It's also like, it's so much easier to deal with all the Other Stuff™️ when you at least have Internet. It's almost like a line of defense 😅

I'll toss the table at them >:( You look great though! 😊

111

Thank you! I think I have to just work all the more harder now with the deadline being next week 😅

Aaaaa guess whose adhd ass sent an old draft for PhD application instead of the latest draft and didn't notice it until the comments came in 😱

This is the first game that makes me really sad I don't have Switch 2 yet :( Hope you have fun!!

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I don't know if this applies to you too, but there's also something about Witcher 3 environment and landscapes that makes me just feel like home. Like I recognize the plants in the game 😅

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Yess, Witcher 3 is definitely a comfort game to me too

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I wasn't a spooky season enjoyer and even now I'm it only softly, like horror is difficult for me. But fall is sooo cozy and pumpkin spice is soo good! I think a part of it is that I associate fall so strongly with games 😅

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Friend: Imagine, just a 100 years ago people didn't have warm running water Me: 👀 Friend: Isn't that crazy? Me: I didn't have warm running water growing up. Sometimes I forget where I came from lol. Feels surreal.

Ohhh, I want to play this game so bad 👀

HEY let’s talk about AI and how certain actions you take “against AI” are actually harmful. Before i get into this, i am against gen AI use. i am also VERY aware of how someone else using AI can largely impact another individual who was not involved in that part of it, at all. life is 🧵1/7

I got an EKG yesterday. They told me if anything weird is up, they'll call me. Meanwhile, I had completely forgotten I had a call from the unemployment office scheduled for today. I might be the first person ever, upon hearing "Hey it's XYZ from the unemployment office", to be like "oh thank god!"

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

What you find interesting is never old news! 😊

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Yeah for real. Let me stop going to IKEA because their stuff is decently affordable and lasts pretty long, and is easy to fit in any decor. Because you know it's a conscious business decision. 😅

Teabit @teebit.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I don't know why we supposedly can't appreciate something just because it's a good business move. Like should good service make me mad or what? A customer who has consistently good experiences with your business will want to come back. That's like, basics of customer satisfaction as a value.

The new Game of Thrones strategy game looked so much like Battle for Middle-Earth games from my childhood!

000

Control Resonant looks just amazing, sweet sweet Witcher 3, Lego City, Warlock and Exodus, new RollerCoaster Tycoon, Path of Exile 2, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation... Even HoMM 3 remake I'm cautiously optimistic. There's literally nothing to lose; if it's garbage, old one will always be there.

and my sweet, sweet Witcher 3 free remaster and DLC! ❤️

000

Gamescom this year has been the most exciting games reveal event in years 🤩🤯 And it's still on-going!!

130

Yess, I'm so seated for Witcher news 🤩

Ooh that's fun! I think the second game works totally fine as a stand-alone, but the first one does set it up pretty well :)

000

I remember really liking Alice Madness Returns! Did you have a chance to play the first one? But that's a long time ago ^^' I'd like to play Silent Hill 2 remake, but Control Resonant coming out just before spooky season I might still be playing that 👀

And I think I want to share some of my progress. In general I think it'd be good if we shared more "progress, starting from zero" stuff regarding different things because that might lower the bar of entry for people. It encourages me, at least!

I'm still learning Godot, by the way. However, I ended up starting to learn doing pixel art too. I never would've expected how much I'd be into that! I can't draw, like, at all and know next to nothing about art but it's been a ton of fun to do pixel art stuff.

240

It feels like I'm just chasing a dragon most of the time 😅

Then there's the games I enjoyed, sure, but at some point put down and never picked up again: - Expedition 33 - Star Ocean: First Departure - Divine Divinity - Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - Alan Wake 2 - Guild Wars - Red Dead Redemption 2

120

Similarly, the games I used to play but just don't hit for me are too many to list. Again, a few notable ones: - Europa Universalis IV - Age of Empires II - Crusader Kings III - World of Warcraft - Fallout 4 - Age of Wonders IV - Skyrim - Civilization 4 - Warhammer: Total War

Games I've tried and fallen out of are way too many to list. Some are games I really would've thought I'd be into like: - Octopath Traveller - Symphony of War - PF: Wrath of the Righteous - Spider Man 2 - Europa Universalis V - Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Spellforce - Mafia trilogy - Metaphor: RF

Mixed with them there's a couple longer time favorites like Scarlet Hollow (never fails to hook me), and Dragon Age Origins which I just started again and I'm having even more fun than I had expected. HoMM III and Warcraft 3, too. But that... Might be about it. Both for new and old games.
