I can’t think of a better way to honor Jimmy Carter than donating to Habitat for Humanity. He and Rosalynn first began volunteering with the nonprofit in 1984 — 3 years after leaving the White House. They volunteered every year until 2020, eventually helping to build and repair 4,390 Habitat homes.

Trending topics are a feature for the masses. For lesser minds who need to know what everyone else is talking about. True geniuses don't care about this. They only log on to post "The Ass is greater than the sum of its Cheeks" and immediately log off

My imposter syndrome of the day - I volunteered to do the thing I get paid six figures to do at my job for a non-profit....and the non-profit was like, "Nah, we good." 🫠 "I will make it all better through Powershell and magic!" "Hmmmmm....how 'bout no."

BlueSky is so aggressively nice that I am reconsidering my misanthropy. I'm pretty sure it's still the right default attitude - but y'all are seriously so *good* it almost gives me hope for humanity. (almost!)

I just had the most amazing night. We are in Reykjavik, Iceland chasing my dream of seeing the Northern Lights for the 2nd time - first time in Alaska there was too much cloud cover. I was crying, lights were dancing, it was truly magical. 🧪🛰️🚀👩🏻‍🔬🔭

The 'complex' problem? How to capture everything from an Azure DevOps 'Project' - all the code (trivial! Thanks git!), all the work items (harder!), and all the build and release pipelines (hardest!). Boss sez we should never delete a pipeline, much less a project - but if we can capture the data...

Props where props are due - I prompted Claude AI's Sonnet today for what I thought was a pretty complex problem, and only spent about 10 minutes cleaning up the mess it made before it worked. In perspective - a 'solution' to this same problem retails for $1,000 - and higher for more users!

The only USNA president so far - and you could not have asked for a better representative. Well, actually - he might've been a tad TOO nice. We deserved to be represented by a John McCain-type. I can't imagine Jimmy writing "IHTFP" in his cover! Fair winds and following seas, Mr. President.🫡
