They have their own TV channels, personalities, media. They deride fact checking and (well) moderated debate. They buy social media platforms to manipulate algorithms and amplify content that suits their preferred ends and worldview. What they are threatened by are places of alignment + organizing

I don’t think it’s an issue of polarization. They don’t seem to want to have a good faith discussion, accept facts, or use reason or logic. Plus usually when you actually make a point that you think they would have to accept, they instead switch to hypocrisy or religion.

LOL this was my experience. I traveled to Dallas to release a new probe test program and when I went to the cafeteria all these strangers kept saying hi to me by name. Afterwards I asked someone and they were like “uhh that’s the tech who’s been helping you all morning.”.
