Whoops, had on the schedule to meet up with some friends today to go see a play - one friend had it on their calendar for 1:00, I had it for 1:30, my other friend had it for 5:00. The 1:00 friend was correct! So I missed the first 15 minutes of "Misery" (but the rest was great)! 😅

A burger with a cheese curd the size of a patty on top of the beef patty.

The course is a total of 31 miles and goes in a loop around the Denver area, stopping by 10 Taco Bell locations along the course — and there’s zero tolerance for cutting the course.

Runners must:

Buy a menu item from at least nine of the 10 stops
Eat at least one Chalupa Supreme or a Crunchwrap Supreme by the fourth stop
Eat at least one Burrito Supreme or one Nachos Bell Grande by the eighth stop

The race must be completed within 11 hours, and drinks do not count as food. Entrants must also keep all receipts and wrappers for, as the official website puts it — “confirmation of stupidity at the end of the run.”

An off-course bathroom break is allowed at Washington Park, and so-called survivors will get a commemorative item after successful completion.

Registration is required by RSVP with a “statement of intent.”

“ONCE YOU RSVP, YOU ARE IN. THIS IS LIKE THE GOBLET OF FIRE,” the rules state.

Other things to know about this crazy competition include a ban on taking Pepto, Alka-Seltzer, Pepcid A/C or Mylanta on the course, as well as the possibility of additional rules being added, amended or changed.
