Now that I finally have edge rendering working, it's hopefully easier to see why it'll be useful for debugging my polygon triangulation code, along with a bunch of other things. Now, I just need to add position numbers and triangle numbers, to keep track of what's what 🖥️😺

I managed to get all of the awkward cases of static PNG file reading implemented: interlacing, palettes, low bit-depth, etc. It'll take some creativity to test them all, especially with odd edge cases of "deflate" decompression 🤔 We raided @hypergame.dev , who's working on a Godot plugin! 💜

I had assumed that the Huffman tree used to encode the dynamic Huffman tree would be static, but no, it was also dynamic, with special rules for repeats. Made progress on decompression for PNGs, but wow 😵‍💫 We raided @francisbeangames.bsky.social, who was working on making a card game in Blender!

Decades ago, "I clocked him" meant "I punched him", a shortening of "I cleaned his clock." Now, "clock" as a verb has a meaning similar to what used to be "peg" as a verb, but if you say "I pegged him as a man of good taste", it means something a bit different now 👀
