Car Size xkcd.com/3167/

4-panel vertical comic. (1) 100 Years Ago [two people standing next to bicycle with small car nearby] PERSON 1: It’s too dangerous riding a bike with these cars around. I should get a car, too. (3) Today [two people between big car and even bigger car] PERSON 1: Everyone has huge SUVs now. If I don’t get the biggest one, I’m putting my family at risk. My mother visited me today and surprised me with a framed print of @projecttiger.bsky.social's wonderful drawing of Alyx :> I was aware she was planning to print it, but I didn't expect her to bring it fully framed. Now I can always have it next to me while playing the game.

A photo of a gaming setup. There is a framed print of an art commission on the wall above it.

I’m this “another sceptical dev”, it’s fantastic. Its creator said ‘traditional “semantic class names” are the reason CSS is hard to maintain, but the truth is you’re never going to believe me until you actually try it’. I thought they were just reaching. Well, now I’ve tried it. They weren’t.

i think people would be a lot more patient with and sympathetic towards IT if they explicitly framed their jobs as embattled heroes locked in eternal combat with the eternal foe of actual productivity: microsoft

I’ve yet to add landing pages to the projects I’m working on… so before I can properly introduce myself and what I do, here are my cats! Their names are Aiden, Laisa, and Noctis, and I love them dearly. I think they’d like you too.

Three cats. A grey/white cat named Laisa, an orange/white cat named Aiden, and a black cat named Noctis.
