Oh no. Little Timmy saw titties.

A not-insignificant part of that could still be faked orders, which is a pretty common bit of scummy behavior to get that “Funded in 24 hours” badge as I understand it. But also, it’s sad to say there’s plenty of people who apparently like the slop.

It was frustrating to see genAI "art" at expo, and I hate how it has made me wary of creators with styles that have been appropriated by AI. Even still, it was great to see Human Made signs outnumbering the slop. I hope #UKGE notices, and we let AI slop go the way of the mystery box next year.

It was great to see you again, excited to see what you're going to be doing with Argo-0!

I’m getting the sense someone is happy I’m home.

During some chats at UKGE I was reminded that it's been a while since I've plugged my casting feed, so: did you know I made a feed that automatically collects (most) casting calls posted to bluesky? If not, consider this shameless plug successful! bsky.app/profile/tave...

It was so great hanging out. I'm looking forward to Dragonmeet already.

It’s too early and I’m in a plane leaving Birmingham, #UKGE was wonderful as always. No photothread yet, but I have two photos courtesy of @rogueandbard.bsky.social that capture my event perfectly. Now… is it time for Dragonmeet yet?

#UKGE was absolutely amazing again thanks to all of you lovely people. I miss you all already. Technology, time, and internet speed sadly conspired against a megathread during the con, but once I’ve done a little recovering I’ll get right to picking through and editing the (oh god) 900 photos.

But consider: new hyperfocus.

So I’ve been hibernating for a bit, what’s been going on? Oh that’s right - it’s UKGE time! Obligatory Birmingham, I am in you. Just like Dragonmeet I’m going to be dropping a megathread with photos of all of the cool stuff people have brought to Expo. Drop me a note if you want to be included.

Happy New Year’s from the Netherlands. Wishing you all good tidings and many great tables in 2026!

Depending on what you want? Somewhere between moderately inconvenient and incredibly hard. The easiest way would be by making dice blanks, painting those similarly to how you paint stained glass dice and then shelling them transparent.

I have nothing, but I can wholeheartedly recommend checking out @rollgothica.bsky.social for some really cool jesmonite dice and @bindwoodgaming.bsky.social for their dice trays and dienosaurs.

I'm still trying to get good at macro photography, and the con was really busy, so I'm very happy this one turned out as well as it did.

There's always next year (or UKGE)!

Looks like it's just going to be reporting and rebroadcasting because NOS Events is required by law to rebroadcast "important international cultural events". From what I could find we're still not going to be sending a contestant. Small victories, I suppose.

Goodbye to Dragonmeet, it was lovely seeing everyone again, I’m already looking forward to see many of you again in May! Some more photos will be dropping after I to my PC, but for now: safe travels home everyone!

Finally, @peregrinecoast.press were right next to SoulMuppet, and I still missed them on my first round. You could've found them at L15-16, but it's a little late for that now, so go buy Milkbar from their webshop. (ft. @jellymuppet.bsky.social who's gotten really good at this "candid photo" thing)

And now for some post-con additions. I got to see Three Fates Wares booth and chat with @goliathdice.bsky.social (www.instagram.com/goliathdice) who showed off some of their amazing dice chonks: yes, that /is/ a 3d dragon head in the 20s face and it looks exactly as cool in person as you'd think.
