Last week, #AI4ALL@UW seeded projects outdoors. Joined by WA Transpo Camp for an #accessibility walkabout, students used #AVIVScoutRoute to check AI-derived predictions against real world. Lesson: responsible AI 🚫 a model. RAI🟰 people + data + evidence + decisions + challenge the system! #OSCONNECT

At the63rd IMCL Conference I was privileged to meet with Mārtiņš Daģis, mayor of Jelgava-a city that reinvents itself. It's powerful to discuss accessibility and livable cities in a place defined by resilience. Honored that @taskarcenter.bsky.social work can contribute. #Accessibility #OpenSidewalks

They are smiling for a photo attending IMCL a conference about accessibility, mobility, and creating more livable cities. The museum's elegant historic interior, featuring warm lighting and architectural details, provides the backdrop.

Glad I made it to the #openthepaths conference hosted by UW @taskarcenter.bsky.social and the amazing Anat Caspi and team. Extra motivated getting me going after hearing from @kirkhovenkotter.com and fun banter with my table mate @lauraloeseattle.bsky.social
Kirk standing behind a podium to the right of a large screen with the words “a megaproject for safety: fixing WA’s most dangerous roadways.” A person with a pony tail is sitting in a black chair in the front of the podium.
