Recording the hidden River Fleet, one of London’s 20 ghost rivers, flowing beneath streets built over it. Lowering my recorder into a drain, the river suddenly roared to life, a reminder that nature persists, even when we've buried it beneath concrete. Listening closely to hear what it has to say.

I wish he had been there. I went for John but then Adam talked about what he called 'violence of silence' of Section 28. I hadn't really thought about how it affected me, a queer teen during the AIDS crisis with no support from teachers etc. Always felt less impacted than older folks. But I was.

Finally got a copy of The Log Books and got it signed by Tash and Adam! Great to see Tash again and finally meet Adam. John's ears would be burning wherever he is, cos he was mentioned quite a few times. Reading his parts I got quite tearful but made it through the talk OK!
