way more of a mixed bag of takes on the Ocarina of Time remake than I thought there would be. old enough to remember the uproar over Wind Waker being cel shaded — this feels similar to me. honestly think it looks great and people are just traumatized by the actually-uncanny AI stuff everywhere.

when I worked at Marsh (Mercer back when I was there) we frequently talked about how if these trends continued indefinitely, it would eventually swallow the economy (100% of GDP), which naturally seemed ridiculous. and yet somehow it’s actually gotten much, much worse since then. hard to believe.
