We have two ways to access student records and progress.’One is a run-house suite that works great and looks like something from 1997. The other is a slick advising platform that is one of those things that administrators get tricked into buying by software sales engineers. It works sometimes.

No. He is a completely normal guy who made up a superhero character that played football and then acted that player out on the field. It was his method of separating his non-football life from the game. I don’t know how healthy it was as he completely dissociated during games, but it was effective.

because they are “common sense.” They define sense as an innate ability to solve a problem. A problem that is currently not solvable is not a problem: It doesn’t exist. The end game is the conceit that engineers are doing science when they are merely applying scientific principles found by others.

The engineer’s mindset is that if it isn’t solvable in their definition non-polynomial time as only containing engineers who are capable, then it’s akin to belief and belief is not a form of knowing. One of the problems I see as a college professor is engineering students who hate required courses

It’s the “if it’s not an engineering problem then it’s unsolvable” line. It’s the engineer’s conceit: That by virtue of being the engineer in the room that they are automatically the smartest, most correct, and the leader of everyone else in the room.

My wife has worked with their merch supplier and met some of the folks who are behind it and they are *um* not afraid to take a chance on any wild idea. I like that strangely.
