First week (also known as Syllabus Week and What a Waste Week) in the books. I have 2 large general education courses. After I announced that exams would be in person with paper exams, multiple versions, and bubble sheets (AKA tried and trued), I had numerous walkouts and drops. I regret nothing.

Possibly esoteric, but the Chetniks were Nazi aligned Serbian (primarily) militias during WW2. I have met a lot of former Yugoslav folks and I learned the various tattoos. It helps temper your conversation there in Southeastern Europe.
