If people can't tell if you're recording or not, they're just going to have to assume you are, and respond accordingly. I don't know why anyone would think this decreases the odds of someone wearing surveillance glasses getting their ass kicked.

NEW: asylum-seeker Martin Soto, who helped organize a hunger and labor strike in ICE’s notorious Delaney Hall, was released late last night with an ankle monitor. He spent 8 consecutive months in ICE custody, much of that time in solitary confinement. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

They want to believe in an infallible strongman to whom they can subvert their own will, while also claiming to be bold innovative truth tellers for doing so, and they want to believe that their is a single objective source of all truth. In this case, they're using a robot instead of some guy.

There is a reason that AI is so attractive to fascists. It allows its users (adherents might be a better word) to hand over their decision-making, their thinking, their autonomy, to something they can convince themselves is bigger, stronger, and smarter than them.

Jim Bakker was a piece of shit and the grift he was doing in the last years of his life is a perfect example of the wrong way to prep. You don't need buckets of freeze dried slop, you need skills and community. Check out our podcast for more on that. live-like-the-world-is-dying.pinecast.co
