Kugisaki is a female roseate skimmer and Fushiguro is an ebony jewelwing damselfly. Kenjaku is not mentioned but is an ancient cockroach wizard that perpetually molts to become new species

I think the omegaverse should include neon genitalia skin like other primates have. we've got knots. we've got scent glands. we've got heats & ruts. let's go whole hog here.

also an African folktale I can’t find immediately about a man with the body of a leopard who tried to marry a woman and eat her. I was terrified circa age 5 that he would come out of the toilet and get me

Day 3: hate sex #gojaku #jjk

Kenjaku on his back with Gojo between his legs (implied to be fucking him)
Gojo is curled over Kenny and is choking him out. Kenny is smiling wide and holding onto Gojo’s forearm. He says “I think I *like* whatever is wrong with you”
Their clothes are strewn around them (this is set right when Gojo breaks out of the prison realm)

Sukuna's version is simpler in my mind (no floor and partially buried) because instead of two oxen he and Uraume have one Sukuna to transport the whole thing

the Hōjōki is super neat because he gives pretty precise instructions on how his house is built, so a number of modern-day people have illustrated and recreated it jonaden.jp/dull/2012100... jonaden.jp/dull/2012101...

He and Uraume alternate between living in a fancy-ass mansion that they killed the previous owners of or living in the woods

I think Sukuna is a competent carpenter. His technique obviously gives him a natural edge (no need to saw!) and I like the image of him having a hut like the one from the Hōjōki that can be disassembled, moved, and reassembled

$Two panel Deltarune comic. Ralsei frowns, staring at the floor. “I’m not greedy like you. It’s okay if Kris never looks my way…I’m happy enough watching their back.” Flowery’s hand rests on his chin, giving Ralsei the side eye as his usual mask slips just a fraction. “No one likes a liar, Raly.”$

thinking about which JJK student attend/want to attend university

Noritoshi: this one is obvious. I think he gets a degree completely unrelated to anything jujutsu, like speech language pathology, leaving everyone he knew at jujutsu tech to go "... huh."
Nobara: majors in political science. she WILL be taking control of this new jujutsu society and how it integrates with the government, thank you very much.
Megumi: might also major in political science/sociology, might major in medicine. he really likes learning and values the non-jujutsu perspective but wants something he can apply to jujutsu society.
Mai: secretly really wanted to go to university but (correctly) thought it would never happen. didn't have a major in mind but really wanted the experience of university.
Panda: in a different universe he gets a PhD in child development and is really good at his job. in this universe he is a plushie and technically not a Japanese citizen so he's SOL.

I read "Who Will Greet You At Home," a short story imagining a Nigeria where babies are constructed from everyday materials and brought to life through a blessing. Neat premise and enjoyable writing; the author's short story collection has been added to my TBR. www.newyorker.com/magazine/201...
