Finished my second ever quilt square today. This time I have the correct seam allowance! Next time I'll try to get my lines straighter. No big project plan yet. Just learning skills with lower stakes. #quilting

Log cabin quilt square in varying prints in neutral shades. The internal seams are a bit wonky, but at least the outside lines are more or less square.

I was sad when Lavar Burton Reads ended. I loved hearing him read me stories. Recently I discovered that @wilwheaton.net is now doing a short story podcast called It's Storytime. I made my first ever quilt square yesterday. It's not perfect, and I'm okay with that. After many many attempts I got all the outside edges lined up. Oh, and my cat, Squirrel, helped. #quilting #catshelping #caturday

My first ever quilt square. Spinning top pattern includes two different dark blue prints and an off-white solid fabric. Not all the squares are exactly the same size, and the creator is genuinely okay with that.
