Yay, a brand new Escaflowne illustration for the Sunrise 50th anniversary project by Hirotoshi Sano, who was a key animator for the series.

Thank goodness I seem to be healing nicely, just have to keep watching it but it seems the timeframe for infection seems to be almost over. Just have to use my left arm more and refrain from scratching

So my shoulder is feeling much better after the surgery yesterday, which I’m very thankful to see. Just wish the itching would settle down lol

Had a productive time this afternoon. Reorganized my spice cabinet and got rid of old stuff. Guess I’m starting to feel a “new normal” after the events of this year

Ugh, not liking that I came back from time off to an email saying “we’re looking at changing compensation for non-union employees due to the provincial government decision”. Guess next year I might be looking for a new company depending on how the referendum and the compensation changes go

That’s some good news I wasn’t expecting. The remaster of Terranigma and now the first 2 Lufia games make me hope others will coming out like “Breath of Fire” or “Bahamut Lagoon”

To add on to this: learn what vegetables freeze well and how to process them, like chopped or minced, and buy on sale/bulk for it. Cheap ice cube trays work great for minced garlic or chopped ginger. Learn how to make soup stock and save vegetable cuttings for it. Cheap whole chickens are great to

Things are getting tight out there. So a few general tips: 1) Make a “menu” for the week before grocery shopping. Be ready to change it based on sales, but if you know what you’re making and the ingredients it’s easier to budget.

I hate this damn libertarian government so much these days. They say they don’t separation and yet put out ads saying “it’s time to separate, vote this way!”. The thought of having to basically move after 20 years and pretty much “start over” along with my family stressors this year has not helped

holy shit, this is the whole ballgame in a single paragraph gAI systems require mass theft of copyrighted works, for the explicit purpose of replacing the market for the people they stole from, and the people in charge knew what they were doing ahead of time, and did it anyway

The separatists have released their "transition plan". And the whole plan is predicated on a spring binding referendum. Hey, remember how Smith was recently asked if she would change the law AGAIN to allow for a binding referendum during the blackout period? Weird, that.
