I broadly agree. It's like substituting things in a recipe. You can absolutely do it and if it results in food to your tastes, that rules! But if you do that and then say the recipe sucked I'm not going to take you very seriously.

I had this idea from reading the elizabeth holmes mouse post and then I couldn't do anything else until i painted the idea to completion

It is a cartoon mouse, like Jerry from Tom and Jerry, shaped like a wedge of cheese presumably because it has eaten a wedge of cheese. The mouse has Elizabeth Holmes' face. The mouse is saying "Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that."
