Edging into adulthood i feel like my dreams have been conflated with jobs and financial security. Sighhhhh. But i did become an artist for a living for a while and i guess still nowish, butttt turns out i hate it! I'd much rather do art, music, or writing for myself and not for a paycheck

Depends on which age you're talking about . . . Buttttt: 4-11: paleontologist or marine biologist 12-14: game designer 15-18: musician, artist, or an author

If i do get a revision i hope i can get it before the end of the year while my insurance is still past my out of pocket maximum. Otherwise i don't know when I'll be able to afford surgery again cause the initial surgery already wiped me out financially.

I posted a 5.5 month update to Reddit after my vaginoplasty surgery with Dr. Pang at Align Surgical. Overall I'm happy i got the surgery, but I'm less happy with my aesthetics. I'm probably going to be seeking a revision. #mtf #vaginoplasty #postopmtf #transsurgery

I am entirely serious when I say that this should be seen as a moderate position. It specifically and surgically dismantles institutions that did not exist pre-9/11 and assigns their functions much as they were assigned pre-9/11.

Been taking the train into the city every other week for gender affirming singing training, and gosh it's so nice to just have time to chill on public transit. Pop in some earbuds, slap on some tunes or a podcast/audiobook, window gazing, and people watching. Forced downtime is amazing 😌

TLDR: Fur Affinity's advertising partners are demanding that they ban adult content. Sciggles and FA want to firmly tell them to go fuck themselves. If they're going to be able to afford to do that, they need the community's help. Pitch in. Keep furry weird. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...

Also I'd be sooooo curious to see those chat logs, haha It's funny how we don't realize gender stuff, delay, or ignore it until it all just comes crashing down

Originally Tally was meant to be a potential dog name if i got a girl dog. But post transition it was stuck in my head, and i was like, "welllll, I'm a girl dog now . . . So Tally it is!"

Tally (Personal Acc.) 🏳️‍⚧️⚧️ @tallywags.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Yep! That's right! I was toying with the Tally for a while before transition. And named my character that cause I liked it. I viewed Tally, as my DND character, as a nonbinary character, which for me was a stepping stone in my gender journey.

I don't remember its name, but I received a magic sword of light that also talked, and had a sense of justice. It was pretty funny, especially because my character was chaotic evil.

I guess in my case, it somewhat paid off that they were so disinterested in my personal life. Cause it allowed me to have a small source of queer comfort.

Also, FO:E was so important for my gender and sexuality journey too. Oddly, my parents knew I liked it and were aware of the print project and my excitement on receiving my copies. But i feel like if they knew about FO:E's content they would have taken my books away.

I totally relate. I've been on and off no contact with my parents for over a decade now. I officially went no contact 2 years ago when i transitioned. There's never been a time when it hasn't fucked me up emotionally. I feel like i could have written your thread myself Know that you're not alone

I feel like there's an unspoken expectation that adults doing activities like eating out or whatever ought to be doing so with a partner or friends. Either way, fuck the norms do your own thing, haha.

Tally (Personal Acc.) 🏳️‍⚧️⚧️ @tallywags.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

As a server/bartender for over a decade, it's totally normal to go eat or drink alone. Ironically though, i also sometimes feel self conscious going to eat/drink by myself. I do feel like culturally in the west it's outside the norm to do lots of activities alone.

The worst part is it's easy to internalize voices like that while working in food service, and come at the end of the day feeling like a loser.

001 0

Tally (Personal Acc.) 🏳️‍⚧️⚧️ @tallywags.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

For real! I hate people like that! Having worked a decade in food service, it's exhausting hearing people say shit like that! And when push came to shove in the pandemic, my food service job was labeled essential! Yet food service still pays like shit and has essentially no health care.

I decided to pick up Begleri so i could have a skill toy that is acceptable to carry around in public and won't freak people out like carrying around one of my balisong trainers. It's an oddly addictive little toy.

I know! I'm reminded of this AI nightmare from deep dream like a decade ago. I can't fucking imagine that future. Gonna be freaky. Honestly i wonder if the web will be even more AI flooded to the point where few if any people use the general web, and instead use smaller paid walled garden sites.
