Oh yeah, I've already got an old Mesa 2x15 to haul around when I want something huge to move across town!

It was a 70s flat-back SVT cab, didn’t have any of the weird basketball doink frequency that all modern 8x10 cabs have in my experience

It happened, after 20+ years of playing bass I finally played through an 8x10 cabinet that didn’t sound like ass!

On the other hand, the fourth Police Teeth LP was one of the chillest, easiest times I've had making a record. We wrote a dang song in the studio, like the Stones wtf!

If you already own the High Priors record and want a Brackets LP, just DM me and we can figure out covering shipping. The most arduous record I've made? Yeah, pretty much! Ask me why in person sometime, but I think it came out pretty well.

Hey what's up Bandcamp Friday! High Priors 12"s (is it an EP? a mini-LP???) and a limited amount of shirts are available NOW. Also let me know and I'm happy to throw in some old records (3rd and 4th Police Teeth LPs, Brackets LPs) to clear out some space in my basement.

Weirdly lots of stuff says they have to be 3 to get it at a pharmacy but we were able to make the appointment and they did it without question, and said the does is the same from ages 2 to 11.

They also had all the Matador stuff that got M&D'd by Atlantic or Capitol, so I was able to get all that real cheap when it inevitably went into the discount part of the catalog!

Say what you will, but I got a lot of random great CDs from CH in the 90s (Infinite Zero reissues of Gang of Four's Entertainment and Flipper's Sex Bomb Baby; Zaireeka; Big Star's #1 Record/Radio City two-fer) that made a big impact on me

The first Coltrane I ever heard, acquired via Columbia House when I was 13 or 14. Totally rewired my brain, especially starting here towards the end of his career/life. I finally tracked down an LP of it a couple years ago and it’s still amazing even after knowing so much more of his work.

I don’t understand why but my Garmin watch always thinks that whatever I’m doing at band practice is actually bike riding

Band practice somehow reads as cycling to an exercise watch

Yeah, would be weird for me, I didn't keep up with much new music between the ages of 14 and 18 until Napster came around, but got way into Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, Neil, Pere Ubu, Big Star, all stuff recently reissued during that time ('96-'00 roughly)

New John Reis record is real good, probably the mellowest-ish thing he's released, moodier and janglier than his last few records. One song has Rick and Gar on it so I'd assume it's an unused Hot Snakes recording, but that's one of the chiller tracks www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXPH...
