Left Twitter the day muskrat bought it. Finally decided to join my people here. Agnostic, lesbian, vegan, wearer of comfortable shoes, soon-to-be retired web dev/graphic designer. Basically, a walking stereotype.

Just replaced the sash cords in the upper and lower sashes of my 1926 house windows. It was hard work, but it is such a pleasure to restore them to their intended functionality and air-flow efficiency. Only nine more to go. :)

If illegal border crossing have dropped so dramatically, why the need for the military to keep people out? Isn't it just a likely that this is the set up for keeping people in?

The most patriotic thing Murkowski and Collins could do right now is switch to the Democratic party and start voting with them. Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if some heretofore gutless men followed their lead.

Just had a straight, white male tell me "we are ALL marginalized." Besides the obvious disconnect with what marginalized means in society, I'm guessing he also doesn't understand relativity. How can you have margins if it's all margins? LOL

From @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social. "If you’re always consumed by the next outrage, you can’t look closely at the last one. The impression of Trump’s power remains; the fact that he keeps stepping on rakes is missed. The projection of strength obscures the reality of weakness. Don’t believe him."

Calls are better than emails. This is an excellent site to help you get started contacting your reps. Provides issues from which to choose, the contact info, and a template if you need help getting started. Be heard... even if your voice shakes!!! 5calls.org

This started out as a small sketch for testing skin tone mixes, but turned into something that I hope honors Pres. Carter. He was a noble man. Watercolor 4" x 3"

All these right wingers keep talking about "exposing the Deep State," "getting rid of the Deep State," and "draining the swamp." If they actually tried to get rid of the dysfunction, they'd find the institutions are not sustained by some nefarious, moustache-tweedling, cat-stroking villains. 1/2

I’m a beginner watercolorist. Working on a looser and more colorful style. Just sharing this chicken because I can. :)
