The last one on Man Utd (for now) This tactical camera gives an image of how the 3-4-3 can be exploited. They can't get pressure on the ball. Zirkzee has a 3v1, including the GK. If anyone jumps, Brighton can find an easy pass out.

Forest went to Anfield and kept the dangerous counter-attacking wide players on the bench until the 60th min. As the game opened up, they took full advantage. Liverpool need to control these spaces when in possession. Forest are waiting to spring as soon as they win it back.

I like Ugarte. He has a brilliant understanding of protecting that central space. His decision-making on when to press and when to protect is excellent, and if he makes the wrong decision, he's very quick to recover.

Man United will struggle to sell Rashford. His wages and, I would imagine, the expected fee won’t be correlated with performances. With little resale value, Man United will have to take a hit. Or maybe this could be a wake up call for Rashford. He needs to show that hunger again.

Why do teams build with the 3-1-6 as opposed to the 3-2-5? It's usually done against teams who play two centre midfield players. City doing it against Palace (3-4-3) with Gundo and KDB as the 1-1.

The bigger the game the better Van Dijk is. When he needs to be completely focused, he’s possibly the best centre back I’ve seen. The only sloppy play you see is when it gets too easy for him.
