It seems like they're going for more tactical combat, with frequent tough mobs with big wind-up attacks that should be avoided. Cool, then give melee classes more mobility options that *aren't* tied to cooldowns.

If you can get to the point where each skill has 2 or more function-altering options, you'll have some nice build diversity. Targeting with anything other than AOE abilities also is very very janky. I don't know if the hitboxes are accidentally tiny or what the issue is, but it needs work.

Moving on to gameplay - what most people admittedly focus on with ARPGS - each skill seems to have 1 node that significantly modifies how that skill works. A cleave attack becomes a spin-to-win channeling skill, your summoned wisps become invulnerable but less damaging, etc. More of this please.

Try 'raiders', 'bastards', 'thieves', 'barbarians', etc. The next zone, your divine horse tells you at least 6-7 times in about as many minutes how 'No way, the Glaukos I knew would never do such a thing!' Just...we get it. Once or twice spread out over a longer timespan would've done the trick.

The plot has been engaging enough that I actively want to know where the game is going with the story, but the dialogue could use some tweaking here and there. For instance, in the first zone, the words 'gryphon' and 'cultist' were used 18,000 times. Try 'monster', 'beast', 'feathered tyrant' etc.

To me, the Odyssey is a well-crafted adaptation of an ancient epic filled with subtle nods to the original text (Mentor, described as having Athena's eyes/wisdom, standing in for Mentes, who was literally Athena in disguise) and some characterization changes that not everyone is going to like.
