I can't imagine gen ai music being ... popular or widly used but there is a sort of fun you can have with it if your in the right mind. I saw a youtuber use the AI to make a song in the style of ICP with lyrics based on some philosophy book... very funny but also extremely not commercial.

Gen AI music will last for as long as youtube exists because in it current form creators are just much better off avoiding copyright risks. You can license music for your channel and still get struck on it and youtube will deny your appeal.
