@shretro.bsky.social suggested I chain fish for Gorebyss in Pokemon Y. I've only played through X, so I started a playthrough of Y. 20 resets into looking for a female Fennekin....

If you're wondering if I have forgotten about this video, don't worry! I've been working on it, and I think it's almost done. I've just been really busy with schoolwork over the last few weeks, but I'm doing my best to get this video out soon ❤️

- FF7 was something I only heard about because of Cloud being added to Smash 4, believe it or not. I first played FF7 not long after that, during a really difficult time in my life. It's one of my favorite games now ☄️ - Pokémon Ultra Moon is where I truly began my journey as a shiny hunter ✨

- NFSMW and GH3 helped shape the type of music I listen to, and it introduced me to what's now my favorite band - Splatoon...I have a love-hate relationship with this game. I don't play it much anymore, but it's extremely important to me because it's how I met my wife @shinyfletchling.bsky.social 💖

- SMB3 and Sonic 2 are the two games I consider the first video games I ever played, I love them both dearly - Pokémon Blue Version set me down the path of being a lifetime Pokémon fan 💙 - Melee is what introduced me to the greater Nintendo universe, and what got me interested in competitive gaming

Also I absolutely totally found another full-odds shiny, mhm yep 1/8192. I've named him Ceres ♥️ #ShinyPokemon #DTQ

Shiny Gyarados (which was absolutely a 1/8192 pull, trust)

Got these two badges quickly! I know the only difference for the info card is that Lanturn leveled up once, but for completion's sake I put both updates #DTQ

I'm absolutely speechless right now. This was only 1,370 FEs on the first phase, AND it's holding a 5% item!! Neptune has joined the party, and now it's a straight shot to my final target: Lugia! #ShinyPokemon #DTQ

Summary screen, including the 5% DeepSeaScale she was holding when caught!

Only Lugia left now... Have to grab some badges first though, of course

So it was recently discovered that you CAN redeem Channel Jirachi in Emerald - if you've specifically beaten Roxanne at least 4 times. For whatever reason, Emerald's internal flag for having done that is the same flag that R/S uses for entering the Hall of Fame. Sounds weird, but yeah, it works!

Time to go fishing! I was told max Happiness will almost guarantee a bite every time in HGSS, and with Ampharos's Static, the spawn rate for Chinchou should be 60%! Here's to hoping I don't phase too much (ideally not at all)🤞 #DTQ

Venus (my shiny Ampharos) has reached max Happiness, as shown by the text with this lady in Goldenrod City

I moved 30 Dive Balls from Emerald Version into SoulSilver for this hunt 🎣

All set up in New Bark Town and ready to begin DTQ hunt #5!
