A friend drove two hours today for her breast cancer chemotherapy only to learn it was canceled due to NIH cuts. Clinical trial ended midstream. No treatment, no restart, no plan, no information. Her bro-in-law's chemo was also canceled.

NEW: A Texas Senate committee has OK'd bills to require the 10 Commandments in classrooms and allow districts to set aside prayer time. Lawmakers and supporters argued church-state separation doesn't exist, and that the bills would be upheld by the courts and spark a revival of faith.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is currently playing the victim and wondering WHY?!? someone allegedly planned a “Dallas-style” attack on them. Of all the police departments in Texas, CCPD holds the highest average rate of police killings in the state at 6.5 per 1 million during 2013-2025.

Data from January 1, 2013 through February 23, 2025 showing the rate of police killings per population in Texas, with the Corpus Christi Police Department leading the state with an average rate of 6.5 police killings per 1 million.

Enrique Tarrio arrested at the capitol in DC today. 😎

Enrique Tarrio, the former national chairman of the Proud Boys, was arrested by U.S. Capitol Police on Friday following a press conference with other Proud Boys members and Oath Keepers' founder Stewart Rhodes.
A spokesperson for USCP said Tarrio was arrested for simple assault. A counter protester put a cell phone close to his face and he struck her phone and arm in response.
The counter protester said she wanted to file charges, so Tarrio was arrested.
The incident took place between the Capitol and Washington's Union Station. Two counter protesters were seen filling out what appeared to be police reports.
