I agree with this campaign. Political media tend to make themselves the story and require a salivating angry public for clicks, views & advertising revenues. Hence: Reform obsessed. Labour have also decided to implode. Becoming a spiteful, boring, depressing party - dragging us all down with them.

As someone who has worked in healthcare. I will never advocate for assisted death, until we have sorted out how to help people live dignified lives. Labour are NOT doing this. But they have passed this bill along with other over-privileged politicians. Morally, this is abhorrent.

The AD bill could have easily come with provisions such as: Minumum spending requirements on Social Care/Mental health care etc. Things written into law in permanency. Unable for cut-fetish politicians to meddle with. I cannot believe the immaturity of the debate and how basic the points are.

I will NEVER waver from this: Ensure dignity for the sick and disabled. Get social care fixed. THEN bring in AD with watertight provisions and write it into a permanent law that can only be repealed, not expanded. The lack of foresight and logic on this is fucking mental.

First you sort out accessibility and dignity for disabled people. Then you sort out respite care and social care. THEN YOU HAVE A FUCKING DEBATE ON ASSISTED DYING. This has proven, beyond all reasonable doubt, that there are few politicians who are aware of their privileged positions.

I am not against AD in principle. But I am when the present situation surrounding disabled people is so dangerous. This was an opportunity to pause this bill, at a time of assault on the disabled community from multiple angles. Carla has voted from an ideological and privileged position.

There are people still in Labour who haven't turned into vampires, which is nice. The ministers cutting funding from disabled, whilst claiming expenses for fuel etc, tossers. Good to see some decent people not just those with their noses in the trough whilst voting to make other people worse off.

In defence of the Club World Cup. Player welfare issues are important. And the calendar is ridiculous, especially with SCR forcing clubs to CUT squad sizes. But I'm warming to the tournament, and enjoying seeing domestic teams you'd never know about otherwise. That's got to be good, surely?
