S01 got the benefit of the doubt from me, but S02 confirms it: Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender is a *horrible* adaptation. The dialog is clunky, the story is condensed so much and they skip over most of the character development that made the cartoon so good.

I've made a Kubernetes that runs in the browser, and today we're open sourcing it. The hope here is to make super interactive and visual web content about Kubernetes much easier to write, and we have a whole bunch planned this year. Repo: github.com/ngrok/webern... Demo: webernetes-demo.ngrok.app

Prediction: in the next 6-12 months, we'll see a resurgence of "tokenless" tools and workflows. People will flock to existing scripts and apps to deterministically handle tasks instead of spending increasingly more expensive tokens to do the same things.

I'm pretty deep in the "person plays vinyl records in their bedroom" side of YouTube and it's some of the most wholesome content on the site. Just people sharing music they love for the fun of it.

Is there a well-maintained list of projects built on #atproto? I'm looking for actual, real projects using the protocol. Not just another AppView or a bot. The "showcase" page seems outdated as it doesn't even mention @tangled.org or @leaflet.pub: docs.bsky.app/showcase

Just broke my 1800+ day meditation streak on #Headspace and honestly… it feels like a relief more than anything else. Keeping the streak alive was starting to feel more important to me than the actual meditation practice, and that can’t be conducive to good mindfulness.

Obsidian is by far the best note-taking tool I’ve used, but it severely missed the mark for me on mobile. Just felt clunky and a little bit of an afterthought. But I found notebooknavigator.com the other day and HOLY CRAP that made all the difference in the world! 10/10 best plugin, no contest.

Absolutely insane headline. And then you read the article.

Eventually, the continent will be torn apart and a new ocean will be formed.

[That will take place over millions of years], as the tectonic plates are ripped apart at rift zones like those in the Afar region in Ethiopia. That is where scientists found the evidence of the unexpected behaviour.
"We found that the mantle beneath Afar is not uniform or stationary - it pulses, and these pulses carry distinct chemical signatures," said Emma Watson, the scientist who led the study.
