Have you tickled a slime mould today? The bright yellow plasmodium I visited has turned into this gorgeous display. Like bunches of grapes, these are the tiny hanging sporangia of the slime mould Badhamia utricularis. Such an exciting find & worth going out in the rain for! They grow on dead wood & develop from a stunning yellow plasmodium, shown on the right #nurturebynature #slimemould

This captivating pond has reappeared after the dry spell. It sits next to a line of old beech #trees & usually offers up gorgeous reflections as well as various #fungi treats.
