I can’t wait to see it. I’ll have to though as we’re up the wall with the kids at the minute. I was looking at getting it on VHS last year so I’m pleased it’ll be out on blu ray soon.

Jerry Paris’ stunning cover to no.1 of Marvel UK’s epic Transformers. What a beginning! Even before we’ve opened it! Jerry set a very high bar for others to rise to. Take a closer look at more photos of issue one in the first of a new OiNK Blog series here: oink.blog/2026/09/20/p... 🚚🤖🐽

… before a smash cut to the end credits. The kids, aged 3 and 4, looked at me totally nonplussed and I thought, “blimey, that’s bleak. Like Se7en for kids. How did Disney make so much money on such a downer of a film?”

… surprised when it had the odd little jump. I’ve never seen it before and found some of the jumps quite jarring. Thought the final scene where one sister sacrifices herself for the other and was frozen to death was particularly brave, given this image and her final exhalation held for a second…

The country is failing because 10 years ago my MP was murdered by a British nationalist: instead of condemning it & designating nationalists as terrorists, we ignored it: they won a referendum to make our politics worse, now they’re so powerful they have their own special “news” channels & parties.

Projector was goosed so the screening was cancelled unfortunately. The duty manager said they would try to organise another screening, so fingers crossed it won’t be too long and that they can get the equipment looked at.

Private companies that sign contracts to deliver public services and then fail to do so should never be allowed to pay dividends to shareholders. A shareholder is a company owner. A company owner who takes public money, doesn't deliver, but takes profit, should be prosecuted.
