These very big Mago berries and are making the journey to Master 20 in Pokemon Sleep a breeze. It's only Friday and I'm already at Master 19, and that's the fastest I've ever gotten there on Greengrass (or anywhere really).

I've had a lot of homeownership adventures lately and the most recent one is needing a new waste and overflow but the plumber isn't coming until Monday and I can't use my shower because it would flood my downstairs neighbor so I've been using the shower by the building pool.

Welp, I'm a single pringle now. We talked a lot about the future when I visited last month, and the big ones were that he really shifted toward wanting kids, plus I would likely be the one to move wherever he gets a new job, which could be in the middle of nowhere. You just can't bridge some gaps.

The fill valve on my toilet is taking forever to fill and is hissing, I was woken up at 4am Monday because something was leaking in my unit to the downstairs neighbor, and now my outside doorknob has broken off. I'm tired. At least the convention center found SO's wallet that we thought was stolen.

We went to the beach today and I finally rode the waves. I've got to get a boogie board. I also got sunburn on my butt (and almost nowhere else) and no this was not a nude beach and my swimsuit was pretty modest. Talent, I have it.

I opened Bluesky during my brief ATX layover and had to verify my age via real ID stuff, and look, I didn't want to talk about airport tacos to go saving my hungry ass that badly. But the blessed extended legroom upgrade meant the inflight alcohol was free, so no complaints.

Wow, TV firmware updates are not a good user experience. The TV doesn't show me specifics of the update so I have to scan a QR code that takes me to Sony's generic support site, where I have to remember my exact TV name out of dozens to see that yes this is just a generic update.

I was figuring out why my toilet was hissing and the first Youtube video started with "I'm sorry you're here because it means you have a problem with your toilet". So real. (Fortunately the worst case scenario fix is cheap and DIY and turning the water off and on again fixed it for me)

I don't know where this "from here" discourse came from but almost no one in Atlanta is an ATL native (me included) and in my experience the rare ATL native who still lives here is often a suburbanite with super outdated views of the city and its neighborhoods.
