On the 16th November, Jupiter and Mars will have a very close conjunction. Just over 1° between them. A fine sight naked eye and a brilliant #astrophotography opportunity. 🔭 🧪

A time-lapse of yesterday's partial solar eclipse from start to maximum eclipse. A massive cloud covering the Sun for 24 minutes caused the big jump unfortunately, and I've struggled to align the photos from after maximum, so I haven't included them 😆

A nice daytime view of the Moon and Venus is happening now, for those interested. Venus should be an easy binocular target; find the Moon, scan up 7-8 diameters or so, and then hang a slight left. 😉 #astronomy #photography

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

If they have not appeared already, early June is a good time to spot noctilucent clouds. Look to the north from late evening onwards and check social media for reports. I'll be posting my sightings on here. #NoctilucentClouds
Striking electric blue noctilucent clouds shining brightly against a dark foreground. Some darker, lower level clouds are around the noctilucent clouds. The sky is dark blue at the top of the image, fading to lighter blue then yellow and orange close to the horizon. Some dark trees and bushes in the foreground.
