Suspect it’s politics - I won’t be the only one to reach this conclusion and triple lock is the only one with enough money behind it. Opposition will jump on any statement like that pretty quickly I would think. Come manifesto time they are all going to have to say something about the triple lock

My guess is they will use the savings available from doing something to the triple lock to fund a national care service. Makes sense and needs to be wait for a Manifesto for next election otherwise he would be breaching the current one

The problem no fine is enormous enough not be payable by the club’s owners so important it’s structured so the club is hit financially. Void the titles and any other cup wins and drop them down two divisions. This has to be a deterrent to other rich owners.
