Maybe because it was at 2AM, but last night's self promo guy pissed me off. So my chat rules now explicitly say you can't come in just to self promote (instead of the vague "follow Twitch etiquette"). I'm sure some will do it anyway. So how could I convey that I'm an artist...? 🤔

Yeah you must be right. If this weren't just words, I'd be tempted to commission someone to translate it. Because it seems that coverage (that I've seen) has been kinda bad. (I guess that's what happens when outlets fire all the staff).

Oh, if they're getting new staff, and they have their own proprietary language, it would make sense to adopt a more known, higher level language!

The fact that the articles I've read have made no mention of it is crazy. But looking at the slides in the gamebiz article (that I can't read), there are several mention of C# and C++! Seems like a step backward, if your studios are already proficient in C++, but there's probably a good reason. 🤔

I think "so it can be used in AI training", and "become what it calls an “AI-generation” engine" still rub me the wrong way. But I admit that I'm primed to view the situation pessimistically, as someone who works with people who do use Chat GPT instead of brain. I guess I'll wait and see. :)

That's the thing: the marketers named old tech something else, to make it sound like new breakthrough. And bc it's now hot, any "smart" behaviour is labelled as "AI". They did this.

Oh, there are character outline options in the PC version of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse. Colors, thicknesses, ... It's no Dead Cells breadth and granularity. I wonder if that's in plans.

Played Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo on Switch 2 in portable. It's good. I'm not dying to play more, but I did completely forget that it was a demo, and was shocked when they stopped me. I saw a bunch of difficulty settings, but not a lot of visual ones. I guess it didn't hurt my eyes, at least.

Am I weird? Old? I see people speculating about "Splatoon 4" and "the next Super Smash Bros.", and I simply do not expect anything. I don't know what another Splatoon could do, to make me want to buy a drip feed content game. Smash Ultimate is already, uh, ultimate. No, I don't want DLC.
