Saw the word "chalk" and I went "Ah, like the Pokémon team." (C.H.A.L.K.) and then tried to remember. Cresselia, Heatran, Ai don't fucking know, Le Porygon 2, & Kangaskhan.

Every day I get closer to the trope of the villain who claims both "I love humanity" and "I will destroy humanity".

Played Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo on Switch 2 in portable. It's good. I'm not dying to play more, but I did completely forget that it was a demo, and was shocked when they stopped me. I saw a bunch of difficulty settings, but not a lot of visual ones. I guess it didn't hurt my eyes, at least.

As a long time Paint Dot Net user, that is pretty heart-breaking to learn! It was lightweight (read: fast), and simple (not GIMP), and functional (not MS Paint). I cannot fathom why they would do this. Oh well. I'm sure an alternative exists.

I had a pair of white shoes that had fast lacing, which served me well for many years, but the uppers and outsoles are detaching. Made with polyester, they were replaced with cotton shoes with zippers. *Very* comfortable memory foam insoles, but their outsole heels wore out in months!

Photo of a someone's textile white shoe. The laces criss cross at the front, but disappear instead of having a knot at the ankle.

Studio photo of a white shoe, looking at the left side of a right shoe. It has laces, but also a zipper going from the ankle and almost going down to the outsole.

Everybody talking about the #LegendOfZelda #NintendoDirect, so I'll keep my opinion short: - Link is overdone, like calm down. Why's he the only one done like this? They redid the Kokiri Sword but not the Master Sword? - Love the lighting. Highlights things in levels. And of course the battle FX!
