And that’s my regionals done at 3-5. Last match was against a Blaze Life Orb Incineroar and Nasty Plot Farigiraf. I had literally no openings I could make that wouldn’t get me wiped out within 5 turns. Perils of hyper offence.

3-4 against a choice scarf Indeedee-M I just couldn’t seem to put down. Kept assuming protects that never came from my opponent, as they were happy enough to keep on the offensive.

3-3 with a tense but decisive win that highlighted that my team really has holes in it I didn’t expect to see coming in. Quite tempted to retire for the day given I can’t top cut and I’m exhausted, but I might as well see it through.

2-3, the RNG was on my side but I made some good plays; much as the fact I let it go to a game 3 shake me a bit.

This is phenomenal news, but given India houses like 15% of the world's population, making their circuit qualifier only feels a bit unfair to them. I get why - same as why Japan nationals are run the way they are, logistics & player interest, but still. They're a big part of the world.

Apologies for the radio silence gang. I’ll be honest, my mental health is in the garbage. Work isn’t going great, my Frankfurt prep is all over the road, I’m nursing a minor injury which is preventing me from lifting and I’m pretty convinced I’m remaining single for as long as I’ve got left.
