Assuming the "Sixpence" in "Sixpence None the Richer" are pre-decimalization pence, that'd be 2.5 pence today, which is currently about 3.4 cents, but "A Little More Than Three Cents None the Richer" sounds terrible, so even though they're an American band, I think they made the right call.
