Yeah i actually do care more about what it means about people writing that shit than someone wearing some glam in a game, true

I have no empathy for a fandom that frequently excused child porn, incest shipping, and other dehumanisation with "its fictional, nobody is hurt!". I will enjoy my fictional pixel clothes in style, thank you <3

So if y'all hate the new ffxiv dungeon gear does that mean you won’t roll on it so I can fill my glam dresser with the new sets more quickly? Neat

Auto demo back on in EU soon and I can't wait to be wholly unaffected by it bc unlike y'all wasting 13€ a month for a house you don’t use in a game you don’t play, I actually love to play the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV lmfao

Kiyoi would primarly drives bikes. Not just for getting around, also to drive for fun in summer. Can drive cars, but doesn't own one herself. Would probably get a private pilot license for hobby aircrafts for fun at some point too.

Finished HW on Yunash at 4 in the morning. Dragonsong my beloved. If only the Thordan trial wasn’t so awful lol after the rather intimidating scene where he smites Lahabrea, there's just nothing going on in the actual trial. Worst expac final trial but at least a huge outlier in that regard

REMEMBER: All the "Don't use em-dashes" "don't use rule of three" advice because it makes your writing "look like AI" is because they stole actual writers work, and their "predict the next thing" stuff just simulates what WE FUCKING DO. Keep writing well. Use every style and trick you have. Fuck AI.

I just remembered an even older concept back when I first made Khiran and thought she was gonna be the sole WoL. Kiyoi was supposed to be a shard of her from the recently rejoined shard. Ultimately failed bc Kiyoi wasn’t gonna give up her existence that easily, so she came back as a Source-OC

Some abandoned concepts: Kiyoi being Au Ra, Kiyoi escaping a bad family and an arranged marriage (cringe ex), Kiyoi having a Viera (her retainer) mentor, duo-wol setup with Khiran, a bunch of side characters got shelved, WoLNero (Kiyoi), multiple iterations of ARR rewrites Reasons in the comments

But who's reeling in who? 🎣🧜‍♀️🐟 #Art #ElodieAurifort #GaiusWol #Mermay

Mermaid/Sailor AU because this is a leftover from Mermay. My WoL, Elodie Aurifort, as a mermaid, with Gaius Baelsar as a sailor.

Elodie is lying on the ground underneath Gaius, her finger underneath his chin as her fish tail bumps him in a teasing fashion. He scowls knowing she's attempting to reel him in and he is determined to not fall for it.

Background is in the style of an Ivan Yakovlevich Bilibin illustration. A school of fish decorating the outside of the borders.

Characters from Final Fantasy XIV. (Baelfort vibes)

Continuing things from the pervious image, Elodie lifting her upper body, now has her arms wrapped around Gaius' neck, implications that she whispering something in his ear. His face somewhat flushed, you can see one arm supporting his upper body for balance while the other holds one of the arms wrapping around his neck; his gaze looking down and past her. Elodie's mermaid tail begins to whip itself around to the foreground.

More fish have joined the border of the edges.

The finale, those whispers have converted to implied neck kisses. Gaius' face is completely flushed, he closes his eyes and accepts his fate of falling for this siren's lure. (Some fisherman, am I right?) The hand he used to support his body is now wrapped around Elodie's torso. Her mermaid tail has fulling whipped itself around them. She has successfully reeled in her catch.

Even more fish have joined the border of the edges, a plethora even!

The entire reason I fanta'd to Miqo was bc I was looking forward to my cat with the new graphics (made her in the benchmark). I do miss femra face 4 bc imo the vibes on that one changed too much and the scales look kinda off now. Overall happy with the changes and my miqo was perfect from the start

I like my chill, windy and island-themed housing playlist, and those of zones I really like. Urqopacha Theme was my Hype Theme from the DT benchmark trailer. Thavnair/Radz is one of my favorite zones, I really love Bozja and Alo Alo was my first on-patch Variant (Corresponding locations in alt text)

Born of the Boughs - 1.0 Gridania Theme
Beyond the Wall - The Fringes Daytime Theme
Divine Words - Thavnair Daytime Theme
Twilit Terraces - Radz-at-Han Nighttime Theme
O Speaker, Slumber - Alo Alo Island Variant Theme
Close in the Distance (Instrumental) - Ultima Thule
Wind on the Plains - Bozja Theme
Windswept Echoes - Urqopacha Daytime Theme

I don't mind the tails just clipping through the cape tbh. Otherwise a split cape. Just don't cut off my tail, I have it for a reason (or make it a toggle if anything, same goes for miqo ears)

Not explicitly map-related but: Adding NPCs of races to areas from expacs when they didn't exist yet. Even just a few as travelers if they're not inherently native to the region.

Add more different housing districts, especially Tuliyollal. Customizable Inn Rooms (and more inn rooms too) Also just for all the people who keep subbing "for the house" despite not even using it, delete their character when they aren't even playing the game (half-joking)

010

Birdiepedia 🌻 @sunbird-elf.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

Unless it's completely broken or turned into scrap metal, Kiyoi can perform routine maintenance and repairs on her gunblade herself. Otherwise she'd need someone else to reforge a weapon for her. Something like the whole blade breaking off. Luckily it's built quite sturdy for WoL-levels of use.

Birdiepedia 🌻 @sunbird-elf.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

Still a pilot in a Garlean Legion. Maybe not the XIVth, maybe the IVth in Bozja instead. Without the Echo she wouldn’t have suffered as much from flashbacks after the Bozja Incident and sought to leave. But if she had gone to Eorzea, she'd likely have ended up tempered after a scouting mission

Kiyoi wasn’t, and in my WoLverse there's no particular "1.0 WoL" either. 1.0 just happened as it is, Dalamud, the Calamity, Eorzeans vs Garleans. Kiyoi came into the picture shortly after but didn't experience anything from 1.0 firsthand

Wyvern Lord for Kiyoi, she's a pilot, so it has to be a flying unit, but character-wise she's much more suited for Wyvern than Pegasi. Also Cormag in Sacred Stones was one of my absolute favorite units.
