![Comic from 2024. Featuring my WoL, Elodie Aurifort and Gaius Baelsar from Final Fantasy XIV. Halloween / All Saints' Wake themed. (Heavy Baelfort vibes)
PAGE 1 -[PANEL 1]
Elodie dressed as (were)wolf and Gaius dressed in the Manderville bunny girl outfit. Both are sitting on the ground in front of an All Saints' Wake backdrop. Elodie is clearly enjoying herself while Gaius looks miserable.
In the top right corner the following words are written in Eorzean font:
"All Saints' Wake
Wolf and Bunny Switcheroo"](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ieoond2ppni64zwpouuootmb/bafkreihmozpapn37ojrgagekerlb3u6xi4uey77jusdab4ppuk67vz3mjm)
![PAGE 2 -[PANEL 1]
Elodie walking behind Gaius "admiring" his costume, clearly having the time of her life. Gaius stands with his arms crossed, annoyed.
[PANEL 2]
"At least someone is enjoying this," Gaius comments looking away embarrassed.
Elodie is taken aback by his comment.
[PANEL 3]
"WAIT, what do you mean!?" Elodie asks, confused that there seems to be a problem, "I thought you said were open to doing a switcheroo & dressing like a bunny!!"
Gaius still adverts his gaze, waiting for Elodie to properly evaluate the issue.
[PANEL 4]
"Hmmm, I guess we could switch costumes..." she ponders, half mumbling to herself, "Rather moot though..."
"NO," Gaius interrupts her thought, "That's NOT what I'm implying."](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ieoond2ppni64zwpouuootmb/bafkreifrclpmpvtrsr7cfkr6eaba3zwchayhntk3jgkbvz3o67fqfobdya)
![PAGE 3 -[PANEL 5]
"When you said 'bunny,' I assumed you were referring to something with more full body coverage..." Gaius sternly explains to her.
The pixelated vision of the Rabbit Suit from Hatchingtide can be seen in the background.
"Maybe something that conceals my identity as well."
[PANEL 6]
"OH!! You mean the Rabbit Suit!" Elodie chirps realizing what costume Gaius is refering.
[PANEL 7]
"About that... I don't have one in my glamour dresser!" she nervously explains to Gaius, "The Manderville bunny attire was the next best thing I had... Sorry!"
Gaius still stands with his arms crossed, frustratingly annoyed that he is stuck wearing this scantily clad costume for the holiday.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ieoond2ppni64zwpouuootmb/bafkreih2ee2tuag3jxtxk4exivtshij7yljxxmcdpxyvukty3u2koaanf4)
![Comic from 2023. Featuring my WoL, Elodie Aurifort, Gaius Baelsar, and Allie Baelsar from Final Fantasy XIV. Halloween / All Saints' Wake themed. (Heavy Baelfort vibes)
PAGE 1 -[PANEL 1]
Elodie presenting herself in her All Saints' Wake themed glam. She holds a Gunblade in one hand while holding the other hand up in a confident way that expresses "untold power."
"TA-DA!~ Guess my costume for All Saints' Wake! Pretty clever, huh?"
[PANEL 2]
Gauis stares at her, not quite sure at what her costume is suppose to be.
[PANEL 3]
Elodie beams with excitement, ready for his guess.
Gaius: Ummm...
[PANEL 4]
Gaius: Some sort of Dragon Primal...?
Elodie's expression immediately flips upon hearing his answer.
[PANEL 5]
"NO!!!!!" Elodie shouts exasperatedly.
"What did Estinien call it again...? Netherhog?" Gaius mumbles under his breath.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ieoond2ppni64zwpouuootmb/bafkreici3s7s7qpkvywxrvwtk4gxxzypzsrdxshdfa5zl7ogxdhmmmem3m)
![PAGE 2 -[PANEL 6]
"My friends at the Free Company decided that this year's theme for costumes was 'to dress like your significant other,'" Elodie attempts to explain her costume as she sheathes the gunblade on her back.
[PANEL 7]
Gauis listens carefully, somewhat hesitant of where this conversation is leading.
"Rather than borrow your coat & call it a day, I opted to flex my creativity!"
[PANEL 8]
"So I took inspiration from our fight in Praetorium"
A chart featuring crudely drawn illustrations of the following:
Golden armor Gaius + Ultima Weapon with Tiny Gaius = Elodie in her All Saints' Wake glam
"And when you piloted Ultima Weapon!"
[PANEL 9]
"..." Gaius stares at her in disbelief, he does understand her vision. Questioning it, even.
[PANEL 10]
Gaius: Have you shown Allie?
Elodie: Not yet.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ieoond2ppni64zwpouuootmb/bafkreiddl3we63baax4quhcfx4memeuo3sd543rchvhk7sfx4f4576sksq)
![PAGE 3 -[PANEL 11]
"ALLIE!" Gaius shouts for his daughter, "Come guess what Elodie is dressed as!"
Elodie: !?
[PANEL 12]
"Hmm..." Allie takes a good long studied look at Elodie, pondering the identity of her costume.
[PANEL 13]
"OH!" Allie exclaims, "You're dress as father!"
Gaius stands shocked and dumbfounded, sure the two are playing a joke on him. There's no way Allie could easily decipher Elodie's vision.
[PANEL 14]
Elodie proudly clasps Allie's hands, tears welling up, "Oh Allie, I knew I could count on you!"
"Haha~ As soon as I saw the horns, it was so obvious!" Allie chirps.
Gaius stands corrected, questioning that he is perhaps flawed for not being able to understand Elodie's "creativity."](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ieoond2ppni64zwpouuootmb/bafkreibymidn5t5lp2r4ba4kp3nrdcimhqj2kbyujr5hgsjicfdq7myxdi)
