Happy Chuseok! We just hosted the Chicago queer Korean group’s Korean Thanksgiving potluck for the third year in a row. Chuseok is a family holiday involving honoring your ancestors, and I love being able to celebrate with the queer fam, many whose families don’t accept them fully.

Decided I’d try to cut my own access hole in the ceiling for the plumber to check for a suspected leak. 12”x12”, I can handle that! Two hours later I have a a 2”x2” hole and the knowledge that there’s a second layer of drywall or plaster above the visible layer. Fuck houses, just rent forever.
