Governments, religious institutions, and companies that commit murder are just as bad as individuals that commit murder and should be punished accordingly. Any body of people who are attempting to dismantle the mechanisms we put in place to ensure accountability should be viewed with suspicion.

Digging further into the AfD and they are deeply concerning to me. They even seem to earnestly believe Hitler was far left which is rhetoric I thought mainly isolated to US talking points because the USA has muddied the waters so much people genuinely believe it. I didn't expect it from Germany.

Every time I hear population scaremongering I want to scream. Learn to manage smaller, aging populations, stop trying to think up ways to trick women into having more children. My simple truth in politics #auspol? Anyone who can treat any community with cruelty will eventually treat you the same. Never trust outrage cycles, it's often spin. At least research them. Find politicians and a philosophy that does try to be as egalitarian as it can. Always stand for human rights.

The Elizabeth Wheatley situation is exactly why I back up my digital media. Especially my queer ebooks and audiobooks. It absolutely is censorship brought on by purity culture and readers have a right to feel betrayed and uneasy. This is also why digital preservation is so important.
