I see the same people who expanded their social influence with Trump outrage in 2016 doing the same sht they was doin back then. And I dont see any visible work they’ve done outside of building their personal brands since then. But they are “voices”. This is part of why we’re here.

it’ll be interesting to see when Gen Alpha comes for the inevitable Millennial and Gen Z slide to the right like every gen before them who became the establishment. one day we’ll tap the macro patterns for wisdom and get to the root of breaking this pattern, but outrage is valid too

made cabbage with sausage over rice for dinner tonight. cabbage remains such a world-beater. accounting in equal parts for flavor, versatility, and value, it's easily a top-tier vegetable, and although it may not necessarily be the best vegetable it should absolutely be in the conversation

so I saw the oil fields on Stocker and LaBrea catch fire real time. the fires are way beyond just the Palisades. smoke and ash in Leimert. stay safe.

man today is a revelation. i see many assume the fact checking on Meta was fair and just by default. but the same fact checking routinely and unfairly shut down radical organizers and folx fighting for justice. yeh Zuck bent knee to suckle balls …but, that apparatus was *highly* flawed & harmful

its funny now I guess. folks playing games like this is eventually probably gonna cause somebody somewhere some harm. they will probably be from a less privileged community without a voice. but yes, lets make a point since we are in our bags today.

but there was almost zero fact checking infrastructure for non-english speaking groups, which is precisely who disinformation campaigns pivoted to target after the disinformation clampdown. and the pivot worked. there was little outcry, but probably little knowledge of it. just found this out myself
