'Anti-Suffrage Postcards: Domestic Chaos and the Challenges of Keeping PhD Writing in Order'. A brief Bloggy PhD update from me: womenslibrary.org.uk/category/blog/
A postcard from the early 1900s with a drawn image of a seated man in his house. He is looking startled while he holds a screaming baby on his knee. The baby has a speech bubble, saying 'Votes For Women'. In the background is a women in a door way, with the implication that she has been out fighting for the vote, leaving the man to care for the child. The caption says: 'Learn Young. Learn Fair'.
