That perfect moment in fall when the air has an edge of crispness, there are some leaves on the ground, but enough green still on the trees that it doesn't yet feel totally desolate. I do miss that moment, but I'm quite happy with not dealing with the six-to-eight month wasteland that follows.

I love this one and loved Craig in the role, but I wish they'd followed up on the promise that this movie implicitly made about hewing back to the source material. Using Fleming's cracking plots, while updating the regrettable stereotypes of his era would have produced such an amazing run of movies.

I initially laughed at Meta using Bowie's "Five Years" in their ad, but now I think I agree with those who are saying that Meta is purposely using the irony to make fun of those who are calling out AI's destructive potential. The lyrics are too obviously apocalyptic for it to be a mistake.

OK, so, two things I just love about this costume rendering: 1. Mackie perfectly captures Burnett's face in all its quirky beauty. There's no mistaking that's Carol Burnett. 2. Even the man's handwriting is stylish. Beautifully legible with a rakish angle and generous curves.

Somehow, mid-century modern still feels "futuristic," even though all of those movements were reflections of a forward-looking perspective. I love them all. I mostly want to see a return to a vision of *intentional* design, rather than the "throw random shit from a big box store together" vibe.
