I've decided to take out my pens this year and try to work on something I've called #31MiniMaps ✨️ In this challenge I'm going to try and make a #battlemap for a 7x7 grid or smaller, keeping it simple but interesting. Will I finish all 31? Just one way to find out 😎

Photo of a white page with writing on it. It reads "31 mini maps". It is written in a gothic font by hand. The 31 is twice as big as the rest of the characters, which are on the side one on top of the other in reading order. The 31 is also in a bluish color while the rest is in black. The page is in an angle and we can see some drawing tools next to the page.

It's my birthday! 😊🎉 Some shares of my work would be lovely as a present💜 ✨

Digital illustration of a pale blue woman with teal, wavy hair in medieval fantasy clothes who points a dagger at the camera. She wears purple and white clothes with some golden details to go with all the jewelry she carries (all fingers have rings, bracelets and big earrings). She has an undercut with half her head very short and the other half very long. She is wearing lots of ruffles and a grey cape over one shoulder. She looks at camera with a big smile, very confident, while she makes drops of water go arround her with some sort of magic. Her eyes are a bright shade of blue-green, she wears purple makeup and has pointy ears. Background is the sea and sky. This is my water genasi Serena, from a DnD game!

Digital illustration of a woman with olive skin and dark hair up in a bun, posing with her full plate armour on as she pets a big brown dog with pointy ears. On the background there's a cliff with a castle looking at the sea. The woman has green eyes, a green gambeson and is holding both a red rose and a long sword with one hand. She looks serious and determined just as her dog. The armour has lots of engravings letting you know she's from a noble family. This is a portrait I made for my Cousland from Dragon Age: Origins.

Digital illustration of a young woman with hot pink skin, long horns, and bifid tongue. This illustration is inspired in art nouveau and has flowers framed on the corners. The woman is a tiefling with yellow goat eyes and long straight white hair with bangs coming out of her nun headwear thingy. She has piercings on the visible goat ear and a ceramic cup on one hand from where it spills some strange liquid. The woman looks at the cup with a big smile sticking her tongue out. On the top on hand written letters it reads "Oops! We did it!!!".

Digital illustration, portrait on my more cartoony style of a young wooman with brown skin and golden eyes. She looks at camera a bit serious as she torns her face to one side. Her hair is red and wavy, she has several piercings in her visible ear, another on the visible brow and a septum. She has freckles and a face tattoo resembling claw marks. She wears a medieval hood (down) buttoned to her neck, half is green and half is purple.

These are some commissions I made at the beginning of the year but never shared before. All of these are DnD characters, with their unique looks and personalities. I love working on people's characters, it's such a great feeling bringing them to life😊💜

five cuts of my last battlemap set in a town square, with different details for each bariant like benches and a tree, empty or with a market; day or night, sometimes raining. There's a griid over it and text at the bottom that reads: town square, 5 variants, change of weather and gridless options included.

New battlemap is up! Right on time for the weekend, this map is set in a little town square: 5 variants to choose from including different weather and time of day, making a total of 42 items. Links in the next post! #Battlemaps #TTRPG

digital illustration in top down point of view, of a town square surrounded by some buildings. In this version, the square has four stone benches with plants on the back and a big tree at the center. There's also stone benches against a wall where a big fountain is placed, surrounded by buckets filled with water, some linens, soap and tools to do the laundry. Next to this area there are some stairs to get to a higher area with a bakery and a restaurant.

Ilustración de Aitor I. Eraña.

As someone who used to work on licensed comics (Rugrats, Cartoon Network etc) it absolutely blows my mind that stuff like this is going out on official products. We'd get dragged over the coals if a spot colour was one Pantone reference out. Now? Sure, Donald has seven fingers. Why not?

This image is obviously wrong (highest drag should be right in front, not across the top) And obviously AI Which I found disappointing Because instead of just asking ChatGPT or Gemini to make a (wrong) fake picture You can just ask Codex or CC to rig you up an actual aerodynamics sim

Aerodynamics sim of a guinea pig, but unfortunately butt-first (high drag)

Proper aerodynamics sim of a guinea pig, correctly showing that the nose area is high drag, the face area medium drag, and generally aerodynamic thereafter. Unfortunately, the space directly behind the guinea pig is a dead-air zone, making it look like animal is propelled by fart rainbows

As you can see, Xbox held their presentation on 6/7, while Nintendo is holding theirs on 6/9. This is due to their core company missives; Nintendo holds fast to traditional (and successful!) gamer values, whereas Xbox is a brand that constantly tries to remain relevant by latching onto trends
